Death The end of the the line, or is it?

No matter how hard a person tries, one way or another he must still face the inevitable which is Death. Life will cease in more ways than one. It is a fact that everyone in this world will have to face.

Most of us when we were young, live our lives never bothering to think about the end, but as time passes by and age has caught up with us. People would start thinking about what is ahead of them.

If you consider the different religions and culture in the world. There are a lot of beliefs that differ from one another, but in order to make things simpler, their are those who believe in the after life and those who don't believe in life after death.

Although different religions have different meanings of the after life, whether it be life as a spirit, an angel, or reincarnation. I can't help but think about the facts concerning the after life.

Although I am a firm believer of Christianity, I can't help but wonder what is in store for us ones we pass away. If we take a look at the beliefs of different religions their are some similarities on the belief of death but there are more differences in the effects of death.

Majority of the people in the world believes in an existence after death, but there are also those who believe that death is the end of everything. Either way nobody is certain enough what to expect ones we cross this path. No matter how many theories or beliefs we will encounter in life, this will always remain unknown. The only time we will find out what really lies beyond this will be the time when we will reach that point.

...Insatiable...

Why can man never be contented? Why are we so insatiable?
I know from my economics that man by nature have insatiable wants. But why? A friend just asked me this question. I was baffled at some point because I never dare asked why we human never seem to get contented at all. Is it because that things constantly change that we also find reasons to want more?

Time Machine

Can it be possible for man to travel back in time? I've been asking myself this question a lot of times, every time I try to visualize myself having the capacity to travel back in time or into the future, countless possibilities of altering the past or presents pop into my mind.

If I could travel back in time, the first thing I would probably do is check all the winning lotto tickets and send it to myself. I would also buy a lot of stocks of from starting companies which would eventually be large corporation in the future and send it to myself . I will also send my self the records all the winning sports team and boxing matches in the next 10 years or so, hmmm reminds me of the movie back to the future.

Which brings me to the other side of time traveling, If I could somehow travel to the future then wouldn't time traveling be a common thing during that time. If everyone could travel in time and there will be no such thing as now or today since you will always have the power to go back and forth in time. Time would no longer exist since it would no longer move forward since you could always repeat the same event over and over again.

If everyone could travel back and forth in time, chances are we could create our own reality and change the future according to our own perception. We could totally erase someone from existence and alter the very course of history from our own point of view.

Another point worth pondering on is, what would happen if someone would go back in time and eliminate the person who invented the time machine, wouldn't that make that event impossible since he wouldn't have the means to travel back in time if the time machine wouldn't materialize.

What would happen to a person who travels back in time and accidentally kills his own ancestor. It seems to be impossible for that to happen, since the very process of eliminating your ancestor would have the effect of you never to have existed and which would also eventually prevent the very process of you accidentally killing your own ancestor.

On the other side of this argument, what if people from the future have already traveled back to the past and what we are experiencing now is the result of those people. The future in which those people live in is would still be unaffected since it is already the result of their action done in the past. No matter what the people from the future will do in the past it still would not affect them due to the fact that those events has already existed from the natural course of the series of events that has happened in their past. If this scenario were to happen, there is nothing the future could alter in the past and everything they would do was bound to happen in order for the to happen.

The True Beginning

Did you ever wonder that if God created us, who created Him? And who created God's creator? Then who created God's Creator's Creator?

You see I can go on but you get what I mean. So yes, there could be a supreme being - the one who started it all. But really, can something start out from absolutely nothing?

This is my second post for the day and questions seem to be pouring in (in just a couple of minutes). This blog is such a great idea after all.

A Fowl Question

This is an old age question that none could ever answer unless one can explain how we humans came about.

Which came first the chicken or the egg?
Do you have theories on this?

UPDATE: (I have to credit Bar Chiu for this)

Scientists claimed to have found an answer to this question - more like a theory.

Therefore the first bird that evolved into what we would call a chicken, probably in prehistoric times, must have first existed as an embryo inside an egg. Read more about it >>
Do you have anything to say about this?
